Prosegur to open andorra’s first cybersecurity and intelligence center with local partner Menta grup
Prosegur, through its Cipher cybersecurity division, will be responsible for integrating and maintaining new technologies at the Security Operations Center, as well as implementing cyber-surveillance and cyber-intelligence services and helping users meet regulatory compliance.
Madrid, June 17, 2024 - Cipher, Prosegur’s cybersecurity division, has reached a strategic agreement with Andorran security company Menta Grup to jointly develop the first SOC (Security Operations Center) in Andorra, accelerating the scale and uptake of cybersecurity systems and measures in the Pyrenean country.
Cipher will be responsible for integrating and maintaining new technologies, as well as implementing cyber surveillance and intelligence services at the SOC, while also helping users meet regulatory compliance. Menta Grup will provide first level response and interaction-based services with users. This will provide 24/7 monitoring of cyber threats, guaranteeing round-the-clock protection and a rapid response to potential incidents.
At the same time, the SOC will create dozens of highly-skilled jobs in managing the latest cybersecurity and cyber-intelligence related issues, including technological support solutions based on the intensive use of generative AI.
Operating under the brand name Menta Ciberseguridad by Cipher, a Prosegur Company, this innovative service will help provide a safer digital environment for Andorran companies and institutions, in addition to protecting them from the growing number of cyber threats in an increasingly interconnected environment.
