Prosegur has been making progress in the sustainability of its light and heavy fleet for years. We are currently promoting, among other things, the transformation of the fleet by opting for alternative motorization or fuel options. We are also promoting an efficient driving training policy, encouraging techniques that reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
Armoured Vehicles
We are pursuing the transition from diesel-powered armoured vehicles to electric, hybrid, or future alternatives with lower emissions such as HVO or synthetic biofuels or green hydrogen. We are also making technical modifications to facilitate a reduction in consumption. For example, the use of new, lighter-weight armour materials.
Light Vehicles
We are advancing in the transition from fuel-powered light vehicles to 100% electric or hybrid vehicles, or those that use lower-emission fuels such as LPG, bioethanol, or CNG.
Telematics and Efficient Driving
We are globally installing telemetry solutions that analyse the use of each vehicle with the aim of optimizing routes and reducing kilometres travelled and litres consumed. We are developing training and awareness plans for efficient and safe driving.
