Prosegur increases 2024 consolidated net profit to €78 million (+19%) and exceeds all its targets for the year
The Group recorded revenues of €4.908 million, up 13.9% on the same period last year

Madrid, February 28, 2025. Prosegur, a global leader in security solutions, today presented its results for the 2024 financial year, reflecting outstanding growth in sales and profitability. The Group achieved a consolidated net profit of €78 million in 2024, up 19% on the same period last year. The company reported total sales of €4.908 billion, an increase of 13.9%, leveraged on unprecedented organic growth.
Prosegur has made extraordinary progress in all the regions where it operates over the course of 2024. In Europe it has achieved growth in euros of close to 8%, in Latin America 20%, while in the rest of the world the growth figure in euros is close to 11%. By business unit, sales growth at Prosegur Cash was 12.3%, Security was 4.9%, and Alarms reached 33.4%.
In terms of profitability, the company experienced outstanding growth in 2024, with a 17% increase in EBITA, reaching €328 million, along with improved margin. Prosegur’s positive operating cash flow grew by 16%, which has meant €25 million more than in the same quarter of the previous year, improving the leverage ratio and the cost of financing. Capex has remained stable compared to the previous year.
The final net financial debt for 2024 reached €1.305 billion, given the increase in financial investments made, although assuming a reduction in the level of leverage to 2.3x.
In terms of sustainability, Prosegur remains committed to the environment in which it operates, an issue that is increasingly relevant for the company due to regulatory changes and the objectives set in relation to the green transition, a fairer and more inclusive working world and the principles of responsible governance that shape its business strategy. In this sense, Prosegur has a Sustainability Master Plan 2024–2027 based on three strategic pillars that guide the company's actions: environment, people and governance. These lines establish a frame of reference and serve to organize and shape strategic initiatives with the main purpose of continuing to reinforce Prosegur's commitment to sustainability, social responsibility and governance.
Evolution of activity by business line
Prosegur Security
Prosegur Security achieved a turnover of €2.502 billion in 2024, reporting year-on-year sales growth of close to 15% and extraordinary organic growth of 18.9%. The business unit has continued to improve its profitability with an increase of 17% over 2023, reaching €81.6 million. The trend of improving margins continues, thanks mainly to the focus on the quality of new clients, discipline in price reviews and the scalability of the business.
One of the most important aspects of Prosegur Security's focus in 2025 will continue to be the expansion of the US market. This ambitious strategy aims to consolidate its presence in one of the most important regions for the company, and is expected to contribute significantly to its growth and profitability in the future.
Prosegur Cash
Prosegur Cash, the cash management and valuables logistics subsidiary, achieved sales of €2.09 billion in 2024. The company has experienced solid year-on-year growth of over 12%, mainly leveraged by extraordinary organic growth of 18% in the business. Prosegur Cash's EBITA for the year reached €251 million, with a year-on-year profitability increase of close to 14% thanks to growth and continuous efficiency measures. In terms of operating cash flow, the trend of improvement continues, leveraged by excellent management of working capital, improving by 2.2% over the previous year.
New products maintained a growth trend with excellent upward progression, representing nearly 32% of total business sales for the year.
Prosegur Alarms
The alarms business generated 191,000 new registrations throughout the year. Overall, Prosegur Alarms and Movistar Prosegur Alarmas already exceeded 962,000 connections at the end of 2024, which represents an increase of 10.5% compared to 2023. Both companies continue to increase their profitability and reached a joint income of €221 million, with a year-on-year comparative growth of 33.4%.
