Movistar Prosegur Alarms extends its ContiGo anti-theft coverage to include emergency assistance for street crime
ContiGo Pro expands the benefits of ContiGo, Movistar Prosegur Alarms’ personal assistance service, with anti-robbery insurance, offering greater protection and safety for subscribers outside the home
Madrid, 10 March 2025.- Movistar Prosegur Alarms has launched ContiGo Pro, its new personal assistance service for emergencies outside the home, expanding the coverage provided by ContiGo. Subscribers to Movistar Prosegur Alarms in March will get ContiGo Pro at no extra cost, a service that includes anti-theft insurance, providing customers with greater peace of mind and protection when they are away from their residence.
Spain’s Ministry of the Interior says street crime is the country’s most-reported offense. In response, Movistar Prosegur Alarms is offering a growing range of services to meet its customers needs, providing them with control over their security and protection in the palm of their hand.
Protection and assistance outside the home against theft and robbery
The ContiGo service, integrated into the Movistar Prosegur Alarms application, includes a personal security system at no additional cost, available for up to five users. Among its features is an SOS Button, which sends a signal to an Alarm Reception Centre (ARC). If confirmed, the user is traced via geolocation and the police are alerted within 20 seconds.
Another key feature is the Countdown, which allows users to configure their estimated journey time. If they do not enter the deactivation code when they arrive at their destination, the CRA contacts the customer and their emergency contacts. If a dangerous situation is confirmed, the police and emergency services are notified.
ContiGo Pro also includes anti-robbery insurance, which during the month of March Movistar Prosegur Alarms is available at no additional cost to new subscribers. This service provides comprehensive coverage in situations of theft or robbery, providing both financial support and personal assistance.
Included among users’ personal items are mobile phones, with protection for devices up to two years old, with compensation of up to €1,500 to cover repair or replacement costs.
ContiGo Pro also includes ATM robbery, with a refund of up to €600 if the incident occurs within 15 minutes of a withdrawal. It also guarantees personal assistance during the 15 days after a robbery, including up to 10 hours a year of support with daily tasks in the event of injuries, along with face-to-face and telephone counselling, an escort service and home assistance.
